Goldsmiths Educational Laboratory for Surprising Experimentation

November 11, 2011 § 1 Comment

excited about this:

We start the Engaged Pedagogy Lab with three sessions in which we will engage with the work of bell hooks, particularly with her ideas on critical feminist pedagogy that she develops in “Teaching to Transgress – Pedagogy as the Practice of Freedom”. We will read and talk, but also work with movement and our bodies. We will discuss the texts, but mainly to explore what they mean to our practice as learners and educators. All sessions will take place in room 310 in the Education Building at Goldsmiths College.
